    dcterms:description "In the study, we employ a 2 (high vs. low personal controls conditions) x 2 (vegetable game vs. fruit game - the majority endorsed option) between-subjects design. At the beginning of the study, participants will sign the consent. In the next step, participants will be asked to recall and describe a situation in which they either had no control or were in complete control. Next, we provide the participants with a short description of the task and present them with two choices of games to play, and ask them to indicate their choice. Afterwards,  participants will respond to a manipulation check question. Then, we will ask participants to complete the need for predictability scale (Lembregts &amp; Pandelaere, 2018). After that, participants will be asked to indicate their decision strategy, whether they perceive the option they picked to be the best or good enough (Schwartz et al. 2002).  In the next step, they will be asked to complete a mood scale (Peterson &amp; Sauber, 1983), followed by a question to capture the importance of game themes. At the end of the study, we will ask for some information about demographics. All the constructs are reported in the variables section of the pre-registration."^^rdf:string ;
