Computer simulations are used to test how the branching process model is available to discuss the 1⁄f problem with the equations described in my previous paper, where a particle may branch into several particles, be absorbed, or be observed by a detector along a chain of causal relationships. In this paper, it is assumed that exactly two particles are produced by a branching process. The simulations show that the power spectrum of a series formed by the time intervals between successive particle detections is characterized by a 1⁄f distribution over a wide range of frequencies (more than eight decades). It is also discussed that the familiar 1⁄f fluctuations are strongly related to a chain of causal relationships in a natural phenomenon, reminiscent of the law of karma in Buddhism.
